Be a Kid Again and Make Your Blog Stand Out

Ahhhhh….to be a kid again. I have five children and sometimes when I watch them play or do other activities. I wonder what ever happened to that playful spirit. I came across this blog post: Be a Kid Again and Make Your Blog Stand Out and it reminded me that we all have that inner kid inside trying to get out.  So here is a tip when creating your blog. LET LOOSE! Have some fun! Remember your blog is the place where people will get to know you. Let me ask you a question…Do you want them to know the boring, stuffy, “business entrepreneur” or the open, sincere fun loving person that I know you are. Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone. :)

What are some of the things you do to express your inner child?

Always balancing,

Rafael

  1. Rafael,

Excellent point about having fun on your blog, mix it with what you are passionate about whatever that may be either business, hobbies, tips, etc but let loose, let people know who you are :)

  2. I love playing with my kids. We have seven ranging from 16 down to 2 and I love being with all of them. All of our children absolutely love to be and play together and I like to join them whenever I can. I especially love to jump in the pool with them and play “water soccer” or the “torpedo game.”

I think you are right…when people see us in more of an authentic light (like when we play), we are more apt to see some more real connections.

    I appreciate your post.

Thanks Chris. We have to make sure we don’t take ourselves to seriously.

    Hey Bruce,

Another family man…our favorite pool game is “colors”. Thanks for the kind words and keep having fun!

  5. Hey Rafael,

Great topic for a blog post. I always try to have as much fun as possible on my blog. It think it is important to let others see the real spirit and soul of a person and there is no better way to do that, than to let your hair down and have a blast.

I love your blog it has so much energy, thank you for sharing,
    Beth :)

  7. Oh, how stuffy and boring we adults can become. You are absolutely right . . . when did we lose that child-like spirit and energy? Let’s get out from those adult masks and be kids again . . . with each other! So much more fun! :-)

  8. Thanks Rafael. I need to be reminded to let loose and play more. That’s really when I have fun and sometimes it’s goofy, but I think we all lose it somewhere along the way when life gets serious on us. Living in the moment helps me to do this, not thinking of yesterday or tomorrow and focusing on right here, right now! Your family is beautiful!
    have a great day!

  10. Hi Rafael,

Someone else with a childish streak… Excellent! It’s good to strike a balance between who you are at home and at work, to let your personality shine through. Sometimes we have to hope that others share our humour… :)

    Thanks for your post.

    Regards,
